Carbon Reduction Plan Empire Medical:
Introduction:
Empire Medical UK is delighted to announce its pledge in helping the effort to emissions of carbon. This report sets out our efforts to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Scope 1 Emissions:
1. Empire Medical UK: Evaluation of direct emissions related to the risk and Management equipment in vehicles / facilities owned by or under control.
2. Emission Reduction Strategies:
*** Reducing company mileage emissions by optimising routes and improved maintenance better fuel consumption.
Upgrading equipment in company facilities to reduce energy consumption and wastes.
Scope 2 Emissions:
1. Transition to Renewable Energy:
Empire Medical UK is actively seeking out electricity from renewable sources (eg, solar panels) to reduce indirect emissions related to purchased electricity.
2. Energy Conservation:
- The addition of energy savings strategies lowering our overall power consumption - e.g., more efficient heating and cooling systems, smart energy management.
Common Practices in both Scope 1 and 2 Parties:
1. Carbon Reduction Goals:
Category II Specific and measurable targets were established in alignment with GHG Protocol guidelines; to this end, the reorganization will significantly reduce carbon emissions.
2. Employee Engagement:
Engaging and educating employees on carbon reduction, which creates a culture of sustainability in the organization.
3. Waste Management:
Waste management methods, particularly recycling and composting have been improved so as to reduce waste disposal emissions.
4. Monitoring and Reporting:
Information and monitoring systems are established to ensure progress towards emission reduction targets as well as regular reporting to stakeholders.
